In case anyone is looking, just walked past the Rolex boutique in Leeds and they have one in the window!

Might save you paying the premium...

Yeah, they seem quite common now (to be in dealer stock), in my experience.

I don't think anyone has paid a premium for a while and I think Iconic have even had them at a slight discount.

There was one in LHR T5 the other day, tax free.

I am just waiting for the new SD4000 to be in windows!!!

I asked around a little bit and then stopped as the trail went a bit cold over here (US)...

I want to try one and see what it's like and tax free at the airport would be nice!

I'm moving back to the UK in July so I shall probably wait and see what that costs me.

May let my newly refurbished GMT II and maybe my Zenith 1969 go in the meantime though.

Ah, cool! I bought one today at such a special deal that I'll be selling first one for a little discount... AD had 7 SD400's arrive but only one BLNR last week so was open to haggling on the SD!

7? 7? And a discount???

WTF?

Are you the luckiest man alive?

Are you willing to name the AD?

Like I said, may be July before I'm ready to 'move' on one but it's good to know they're out there, though they seem more prevalent in the UK than US, for some reason?!

It's not a UK dealer and he turns over a massive volume, so gets preferential treatment. A tourist tried to buy 3 of the SD's and he turned them down so he could sell them to individuals. I knew someone else managed to get just over 10% off SD there so I tried my luck and made a bit more. Score!

That's why my UK SD can go for a small discount - pass on the love! wink
