Electrical issues.

As usual I'm hoping you Boys can point me in the right direction.
Since doing some work on the car and it's been standing some time I seem to have developed a few issues
N/S door doesn't open from the outside
N/S door window doesn't work
N/S headlight does not work

I've re attached the two earth leads at the front of O/S chassis rail ( by rad)
I'd also re attached the one to the O/S outrigger.

I've also been in the N/S footwell sorting battery bolts etc, various times I've been down there changing Cat resistor etc.

I also pulled the carpets out and on the N/S inner wing there's loads of wires which I disturbed!

I'm sure this is all related.

Any pointers I should check first before bringing in the experts would be a great help, my mate has meter so can check feeds etc. thanks Alun

Hi,
presumming yours is the later model,with door opening switch on the door mirror!
for the switch and windows, you ll probably find that the wires have broken, like on mine, the wire is so inadequate that you can tear it with your fingers,You can access them both by removing the speaker in the door, hopefully you can trace it back from there, if you need to remove the door mirror glass, tilt it upwards and you will see a black plastic casing below it with a notch, carefully slide it to one side and the mirror will drop out <catch it or use masking tape>.mine had snapped just behind the speaker casing.same with the window cable.
Sorry no ideas on the the light though. hope this helps

Thanks Growler, that's a good place to start. I think I'll get my head into the bible and try work a few things out.
My idea is to look around and find loose wire or broken etc and go from there.
