Would you buy one for £3500? Boring car I know but it's immaculate 2010 plate fsh and 50k on the clock. It's cheap because it's a family member.
They go for about £5000 at that mileage and year. Definitely not my 1st choice of car but because it's ping cheap, I'm impulsive and tempted. What do you all think?

To be fair Peugeots aren't that bad, they get a lot of bad press for reliability and most of it is warranted yet everyone then jumps on the bandwagon without ever haven driven them.
The 308 looks like some life form they scraped off an ocean floor but inside is quite smart and the hdi engines arent half bad at all if its a diesel. Go for it, especially at that price.

Cracking cars, 308s. Peugeots get a really bad press on here, largely unjustified. They aren't exciting, but the diesel engines are excellent, refinement and comfort also impressive.
I have drove it actually and it was a nice drive. 1.6 auto petrol.I think that people do get finicky over badges a bit like how skodas used to be.
