TVR holds winter driving experience

Next weekend sees on-track practice for the cold season.

TVR Racing has announced a special event, the TVR Winter Driving Day. With winter on the way, the parent company is arranging a driving day, its first this year, to prepare you and your TVR for the coming season.

The day includes:

Driving in extreme situations -- discussion, simulation and practice.
Finding your own limit and learning how to handle it.
Supervision by TVR Racing's team of professional instructors under the direction of Austrian Junior Rally Champion, Rupert Schachinger.
A full day of driving and experiencing the atmosphere of the race track.
Riding in the two-seater Tuscan Challenge Race Car and be chauffeured around the track at racing speed.
Race track catering to spoil you from early until late.

Timetable

08.00am: Registration and full English breakfast

08.30am: Professional briefing given by Malcolm Hamilton

09.30am: Now its time to start your engines! As a warm up we’ve prepared a full slalom circuit!

10.40am: Understeering and Oversteering. Acceleration and braking.

12.00am: Lunch Time. A delicious meal is prepared for you.

01.00pm: Dry and wet weather handling. Also, take a passenger ride in our
Skid Control Demo Vehicle.

03.00pm: Open pit lane. Two-Seater Tuscan Challenge Race Car rides.

05:00pm: Debriefing and Evaluation.
