I debating whether to leave off the rubber trim from the windscreen - I can even get hold of it as I cant find a supplier. Is there an alternative?

Hi Mate...If you have a piece that you can post up a profile of and measure the depth etc of then i might be able to find something..I can measure mine for width but I'm not sure what shape it is beyond that...Cheers...Ziga

It's just a 'T' shape (or mine was anyway)

When I had my windscreen replaced the glass guy didn't have the original type, but replacement 'T' section was only slightly wider, and looks really good, as it covers up the rough edges of the paint.

That was an option I was looking at - what size did you go for? I have seen T Section with a 25mm flap going for 6 a metre...
