What car would you drive if you were still single?

Not a pop at anyone not married or in a relationship (keep on living the dream) but getting married and having kids has certainly changed my car buying habits and I often wonder what car I would be driving now if I was still single. Nowadays I have to justify every car-buying purchase against spending money on the house, family holidays and a college fund for the kids (even though they're both under 2)! I vaguely remember a time when things were different. My wife gets a newish medium-sized car to ferry the kids about in and I have a cheap workhorse for load-lugging and going to work in!
So, if your married and possibly have kids, what do you think you would be driving now if your circumstances were different.
If I was actively seeking a partner, probably something like this (Golf GTI):
or this (BMW M135i):
Smart but not too flash, befitting of my age (i.e. not too juvenile, I'm 34) fairly quick but not too expensive to run day-to-day, fairly practical and slightly more expensive than what I could justify buying in my present circumstances.
I might well have something like one of these in the garage at home for weekend fun though:
If I was still loving the bachelor lifestyle too much to settle down, then just one of the above or possibly the more juvenile alternative to the Golf/BMW:

or the EP3 version but this one looks so much cooler!
Disclaimer: I'm happy in my marriage but in the last few years my garage has gone downhill somewhat! On the plus side, I do like SUVs and estate cars, so would be perfectly happy with a newish Jeep Grand Cherokee and a Golf TDI Estate when finances allow!

I had a TT Roadster which was heavily modified and running about 270BHP, when Wifey gave me the great news that she was pregnant I realised that the time had come to progress to a more suitable family car.
