Anyone else signed up for this? I've put my name down for the full route (115 miles) and to be honest I'm starting to feel a little nervous! I'm way out of shape at the moment and looking at the elevation profile it would be better off called "King of the Ups!"

Me and my mate are still umm'ing and ahh'ing about this, as training for L2B (we would only do the 54 mile course) - we've never ridden on road with a group either.
Normally i think paying for riding on roads i could ride for free is madness, but the prospect of a meal either end sounds quite appealing! biggrin

I am doing the 54mile as as step up from the Wiggle Ups and Downs 36mile I did last month. My goal as before is to ride all the hills, the KOTD 1st half looks a little easier than Wiggle was in terms of climbing so hopefully the extra 20miles wont be too bad.

As last year this clashes with the only pay event I do, the Eastbourne sportive. Closed road start, 20 quid, 65 miles with some classic fab south downs climbs/views and our switchback descent from Beachy Head to the seafront.

Well, that was a pretty awesome ride. Perfect weather for it, a friendly bunch of riders and some stunning scenery. A couple of sodding awful hills at ~90 and ~100 miles in as well just to keep things interesting!
