ID chilli plant

Hi For the last couple of months I've been nurturing this self seeded chilli plant (at least I think it is)

I've pinched the top leaves out to encourage to bush out, no flowers yet.

Any idea what type it is and how I should care for it?

Hard to tell for sure without a closeup of the leaves, but that doesn't look like a chili at all to me.

To me that looks like basil, perhaps Holy basil.
I'm just going from the look of the few "front facing" leaves

Does it smell of anything other than 'plant'?

Hmmmmmmm, I'd put another photo up of the leaves but having problems with the site @ the moment .

No smell, so I don't think it's a herb. Maybe I'm cultivating a weed.
