Just a random question. Let's assume on the basic OTR price of a car you can get a 3k discount off list of lets say, 30k. If that manufacturer has a contribution to the finance of 1k does that affect the dealer margin? So if you can negotiate 3k off and then decide to use dealer pcp and take advantage of the deposit contribution would a dealer be likely to still honour the original discount so 29k less 3k? Ie. Do they still have the same margin to play with?
Hope that makes sense. ..

2 things

1) Dealer 'contribution' for using finance - they will get it back from you in interest. If you need finance anyway do it.

2) Check Drivethedeal - I've never bettered their prices on new - and I've bought from them twice.
