Early 2013 model Specialized Allez - How much is it worth?

Hi folks,

I saw an advert in my local paper shop window for a 16 month old Spec Allez, the seller is asking 360. Its a medium bike, Riva saddle. 50/34 chain rings, 8 speed cassette and the seller claims it has done 1200 miles only.

I thought that 360 is pretty expensive for an Allez, as my friend just picked a large frame up for 250. What are your thoughts on this?

Call them up and offer them 250, don't be surprised when they tell you no

I reckon it would get more than 350 on ebay

It depends what model it is, but it doesn't seem particularly expensive for any of them.

Current 2014 spec base model has claris and is 600. Sport is sora and 700ish and the elite has Tiagra and is about 800 - 850.

8 speed means it must be the base model.

Sounds about right, I sold my 2009 on mavic open pros having done about 4k miles but needing a wheel rebuild for about 220 so probably cost 300 with the wheel fixed and that was 4years older they used sora on the base model back then though I believe.
