Just noticed they don't come on with engine running. Is that normal? Can't actually find the switch on the wedge wiring diagram I have to see!

They should do mate...Have you checked the bulb/Fuse/Relay??

Works with engine off. Suspect alarm wiring is the cause. Need to find the bugger on the wiring diagram

I think most old cars let alone Wedges have evidence of that..People ripping out and re-fitting alarms/Stereos...Just causing a frigging nightmare for people later on!...I know mine work with the engine running...Good luck with it...Cheers...Ziga

Tell me about it! I also have a rogue people and white (not internal lamps!) Wire hanging out of the steering column

Purple and white?...I think i recall a wire with that colour combo that operated the dash illumination for the high beam..Could be wrong...Ziga
