Had a great day out with the wife and kids!
Usual shows are boring as hell for them, but this was good with plenty of runs up the course, and a nice relaxed club feel to the event.
Had a chat with a guy in a 964 C4 (who has one of the best sounding cars of the day, bar the V8 Cortina) who said he joined the 7Oaks club for 20 a year, and pick what you want to do event wise. Just need toeing eyes, a helmet and race suit and crack on in what you turned up in (his class was road cars from mid '70s to '99)
Loads of variety of cars with the odd big hitter (GT3, with a guy who wasn't trying, McLaren MP4-12C, who was, along with a 430, and a brave bloke in a loud RS6 V10). Some rally escorts got quite lairy, as they do!

What a top day of Motorsport. So many great runs. Well done to fellow 911uk member 917K ( 964 C4) in his first Motorsport event for many years. Very respectful run indeed. I still wonder why this event isn't bigger than it is. It has everything, Classic cars, for the Show n Shine type, and Motorsport for the PHeads, all under one nostalgic arena. It's still South Londons best kept secret IMO. Doing all again tomorrow , hope the weather holds out.
