megane rs 265 cup or porsche boxster

Hi everyone, had my rs 265 cup 3 months now but miss my old Cayman s, keep looking at Boxsters but not sure what to do, the cup drives brilliantly but does seem that special when compared with the Porsche, should I change back to Boxster 2.7/3.2/3.4 or stick with rs, have done 1 half track day in rs and really enjoyed car but plan on only a couple of track days per year, mine is a 2012 april car with 2 years Renault warranty remaining so got peace of mind - Help anyone ?

Depends how much practicality you need? If you need a hatchback keep the Renault, if not get the Porsche.

Stick with it. Drive it for 1 year then sell and try another car. Keep repeating and soon you'll have test driven and owned a wide range of cars, which is more than many people experience.

Had a 987.1 Boxster S which I changed for a Scirocco 2 litre DSG - the Roc was great, but it lacked something so 11 months later it went and I got a Cayman S. Financial suicide, but glad I did it as I loved the Cayman. There is something very special about the marque and, if you don't need the practicality, they're hard to equal. Boxsters will still be pricey at the moment though as summer is allegedly here, so I'd persevere with the Renault and think again during the winter.

3 months .. Financially this is going to cost you a lot be it part x or even private seller as it would to a private seller reek of something wrong with it/lots of owners.

I am only second owner first was Renault themselves notning wrong with car absolutley perfect apart from being a Porsche, easier to drive quickly than a porsche especially as mine has cup chassis and lovely recaros, but still cant decide, mines only done 13k miles as well and has rest of 4 year renault warranty.???????????????

Regardless it the next owner will be the third in 13k miles on a new car.

Be prepared to take a bath on the part x or what you can sell privately if its not the case then you'll have a nice problem but I wouldn't count on it. Can you not run it out for at least a year to keep the financial pain as low as possible?
