BMW E46 M3 CS :-)
How do people view the prices of these models. Will they command a premium over regular M3 models or will this increase/decrease in the future. I noticed Hexagon have a couple for sale. I think around 233 came officially to UK in both gearboxes

I think those prices are absurd. These cars are nothing more than a run out model. The CSL is a completely different proposition and will continue to appreciate but the CS is light years away from it and not a future classic. I believe a CS should command a 25% premium over a standard M3 with equivalent mileage and age. Nice cars mind.
All in my opinion of course.

Dismissing the CS as "nothing more than a run out model" is a bit unfair. The quicker rack and the M-track DSC setting were both very welcome additions over the "ordinary" M3. Whether the uprated brakes, alcantara trim and nice wheels were worth the extra or not is personal preference, but they did help set the CS apart. In my view, the CS quite justifiably enjoys a price premium over the standard car and will continue to do so.
Nevertheless - and, of course, unsurprisingly - those Hexagon prices are mad. I can see the arguments for a nice low mileage CS being high-teens, but high-twenties is bonkers.

In a magazine written by BMW fanboys for BMW fanboys? Who would of thought that might happen?
Not withstanding, an excellent car. Find me a manual one please with less than 30k miles.
