When battery connected starter engages
Discussion
Hi guys
I am looking for suggestions. I have cut all the wires from the relay and fuse box and moved it to the boot along with the battery. However as soon as I connect the battery the starter engages. I will be trying the following.
1. Disconnect the small solenoid wire to see if the starter is stack. If it is stack do you think I will need a new starter??
2. If the starter does not engage then I will check if there is power coming to the solenoid wire with my multimeter and there should be. If so where is that wire connected to. Is it coming directly from the immobilized or is there an ignition relay
Have you got any other ideas??? May I have connected some wires wrong....
