Just joined the 'Brompton' clan

As I bought it from Edinburgh cycles I guess I can call it a clan.
Bobby bargain at 710 for an S2L from their Sheffield store.
Will save myself 40 a week in station car park fees and will speed up my commute to work down in London (London house to city).
Am now trying to resist buying stuff for it but am thinking bag, lock, lights....

Congratulations, I bought one back in 2007 and it has more than paid for itself in saved time and underground fares and it's an extra 20 minute work out twice a day. My only regret is not going for more than 3 gears...

I must admit the hills in the White Peak are quite hard with just the 2 gears!But its pretty fast on the flats. Most of my riding whilst down in town will be flat ie I am always near the Thames.

Week 1 wasa success. Only 1 near miss with a car. 2 gears are fine, even up brixton hill.

Not sure about the upgrade suggestions.. Brooks saddles look nice, but the standard is more comfortable to carry it with. The latest Brompton tyres are also as puncture proof as Marathons
