Help save the "Speed matters" PH tagline
Discussion
I'll admit this should probably be in website feedback, but I think it will get far more support in the lounge.
Pistonheads has been around for a long time, and was founded due to Teds love of TVRs, resulting in a tag line of "speed matters", something I think all PHers can agree with. The new website homepage had omitted this tag line, which I personally think is an affront to the websites heritage,
I'd love Haymarket to reinstate the proper tag line on the homepage, but they will only do that if members push for it. So do me, and everyone else on PH, a huge favour, and respond to this thread with your best memory of why speed matters, starting with "My best memory of speed is...". Hopefully the powers that be will listen to us and put "speed matters" back on the homepage of the motoring website we all know and love.

Do we really think that Mr/s XYZ who joined Haymarket's Directorship of Brand Management and Platform Integration Targeted Delivery Group in 2012 really cares what the average user of the forum thinks, when they have risk adverse advertising focus groups for the fluffy coffee company telling them that they "like the access to ABC1s, but would prefer a platform that aligned better with their pseudo-eco-consumerist ideals"?
we turning into mumsnet mk2?
Like the escort but not a nice looking.
Like the godfather but not quite as loved.
Maybe like snickers but everyone still calls marathon if your over in a set age group.
Times change, Speed, Yes it matters but lets be honest, I will still never get a look in with that Michelle Keegan.

^+1 I reckon Haymarket have brought in Perfect Curve to do the re-vamp.......... So that's all good then. I've spoken to Tony about it and he's totally on board. On a more subversive note why not try putting something like the CSL owners forum in favourites and click on that to access PH, bypassing the front page as much as possible until the 'Speed matters' tagline is restored. Yeh, lets stick it to the Man
