Well the father in law decided to go away for the week so no access to oxy torch :-(

Quick trip to pick up a standard blow torch and had the little buggers out in no time. Had to take woolys advice and cut the centre piece of rod out, then heated up for 5 mins and a wack with a hammer and bobs your uncle :-)

Whilst the blow torch was out I thought I'd get the suspension bushes out whilst I was at it. Saw on you tube that if you hear the metal on the outside till it starts fizzing and popping then push the bush with a suitable screw driver the bush slides out as the rubber has melted a tad and slips out

All in all she is now ready for blasting :-)

Phew.....beer time

Randomly no, cut out theiddle bit, heated one side for 5 mins that hit with a normal hammer and out they came. Guess I was fortunate?

First one was a right pain but the second hub was literally 15 mins job done as I knew what I wa doing

Have learnt a great deal on this re build !!!

Pushing out the cremated rubber bit and the inner tube is only part of the job, you still need to get the outer tube of the bush out...

Morning, I'm not sure you've got the gist of using the hammer method in the way I was trying to describe but hay ho you've got them out without breakages, next job then.
