My Impreza and a little bit of french too

Bought this in January after selling my RS1600i,needed a toy and it was looking to be Sierra Cosworth shaped but after looking at a few that needed work in the same price range as this it was a no brainer for me really.I have no doubt however that I will at some point own another Sierra.
Gave it a clean up last week and took some photos along with my little brothers Clio 172,the Impreza's standard sti but the 172 has been rather fettled shall we say,Jenvey throttle bodies being the main item in the list of goodies,it goes very very well indeed but too much noise for me these days.
Anyway,some photos.Sorry not the best quality,only had the phone.

How do the Impreza and that 172 compare to drive? Can you give us some impressions.
Very different indeed,I've owned 2 Clio 182's myself and they're great little cars,for what they are.The Subaru is in a different league in every respect IMO.I'm a bit sad that I didn't buy one of these a lot sooner to be honest.How do the Impreza and that 172 compare to drive? I remember driving my friend's black one back in the 80s - great seats
I owned it for nearly 2 years I think,I'm a Ford man at heart and it was the next step up from my XR3 at the time,that and it was an ebay bargain late one Sunday night.I remember driving my friend's black one back in the 80s - great seats
The seats funnily enough I thought were horrible and often threatened to swap them for a set of Series 1 RS Turbo Recaros,never did get round to it.The car itself is being turned into a 4x4 Cosworth these days,last seen chopped up waiting for it's new running gear.

Awful.Only word to describe it IMO.All depends on how you drive though I suppose.I can make a tank of vpower disappear rather sharpish but I'm not really one for doing MPG tests and the like,I bought it to have a bit of fun and if it needs fuel it gets filled up.I have transport for work so it's mainly a weekend toy so I don't tend to feel it so much on the pocket.

Thank you,my uncle has a Nouveau red 4x4 Sapphire that will be mine one day whether he likes it or not Good luck with the Cosworth dream anyway - great cars but going up in value
