Cayenne doors won't open sometimes

Slightly odd problem with the Cayenne.
First happened Friday - my friend got in the passenger side fine, but driver door wouldn't open. I locked / unlocked a few times and it opened.
Happened again a couple of times over the weekend - but this time, it was the passenger door that wouldn't open. The last time I did it, I didn't try locking / unlocking - I just tried the handle about half a dozen times. It still didn't open - I tried the rear door, which opened first time - them tried the front door again and it opened straight away.
It doesn't seem to be lock related - I hear the doors unlock and it seems that after repeated attempts it will eventually open even without touching the locks. But I can't think of anything (other than the central locking) which would randomly affect driver and passenger door.
Any ideas?

OK, if you find the cause let me know.
My passenger door has always felt a little dodgy (when you open it, it kind of feels like it was only pushed closed and not actually latched close) - so I wouldn't be surprised if it was just that door that had started playing up. But it's odd they've both started doing it at the same time - although it's behaved itself for the last two days.
