Nothing wrong with the discs. It's the disc pads that are down to approx 40 percent.
ah, when you wrote "disc pads" I thought you meant both. I call them brake pads, where are you from that they call them disc pads? I can't remember the compound but believe they are made by pagid. Be careful to only use the correct pads for PCCB, even if it means sucking it up and buying from Porsche to be sure, if you get something too abrasive you can damage the discs which as you know are mega bucks to replace.Inverted said:
Pagid have a new ish pad that is designed especially for ceramic discs. Ive bought some for the PCCB on my RS. Cant comment on performance as I havent fitted them yet.
No need to go to OPC they will just take your eyes out anyway.
I find on most parts the OPC cheaper. inc pads.No need to go to OPC they will just take your eyes out anyway.

Do you know the exact model number for the pads for 997 GT3 with ceramics (380mm/350mm)?No need to go to OPC they will just take your eyes out anyway.
Ask the OPC for a discount. Most usually offer some sort when asked. Porsche club membership also gives you 10% or something like that and never been asked for proof.
I would stick with std oem fitment as Porsche intended seeing as you are Road only. If you are careful there is no need to replace the sensors as they can be swapped over no problem therefore saving you £20 a corner ( provided your brake warning light is not illuminated ) and the piston caps and backing plates can all be reused.
