Rear Upright Rose Joint Spacers
Discussion
We are talking about the rose joint fitting to the top of the upright trapped between 2 spacers and the ears of the ali upright?
If so, then first check that the steel insert in one of the ears is flush on the inside face as this could be preventing assembly. If flush then just dress down the end of a spacer until it fits. When torqued up the steel insert will move in the ear if it needs to.

I've managed to fit the O/S Rear upright with no problems at all, the spacers just slipped into place.
When I try the N/S Rear it just won't go in and I don't want to persuade it with any heavy handed techniques.
Any help appreciated
Michael
If I remember correctly the factory stock large and medium spacers, have you both ? I did some filing on some ..

Hi Steve,
Yes, it is the upper rose joint/spacers I'm referencing.
I will check to see if the tibe is flush and press if in necessary.
Hi G Man,
All the spacers did look the same depth but again I will check, these were the gold items. Glad you mentioned filing as this seemed my only option.
Cheers
