Yep, that pretty much sums it up. New plugs, leads, cap and arm. Started it and it was missing. Found a schematic for leads on the cap and pulled them all to put it right at which point I realised that it was nothing like it had been...

So, how do I find out whether the dizzy is 180degrees out, and why would it be so...? Simple job just got very complicated.....

Get No.1 cylinder, which is front pasenger side, to TDC on firing stroke. Where ever the rotor arm is pointing that is your lead position for no.1 cylinder. Put the others on as per firing order.

Thanks for your help guys. Now running perfectly and the misfire that led to this has gone.
