Summer Job/Temporary Employment

Hi, I'm just after a little advice.
I've just finished my degree in civil engineering, and I have a job waiting as a Civil Engineer in a huge company on 18th August. So far so good, except I'm skint and I want a summer job, Not really fussed what it is, preferably not sales or dealing with customers.
Anyway, the problem I have is, do I tell any prospective summer job companies that I will be leaving in August, and possibly not get a job because of it, or do I lie and just leave in August but potentially end up leaving an employer in the lurch.
I'm not bothered about a reference, I have great references already. It's more of the ethics and the getting of the job in the first place.
...Or if anyone has any jobs going in either the Sheffield or Warrington area for a few months then I'm you man.

Agency work - it'll probably be picking in warehouse or somesuch but it'll keep you off street corners and the build up to autumn/ winter ranges going out to stores and pre -work for Christmas will be starting ...I've just finished my degree in civil engineering, and I have a job waiting as a Civil Engineer in a huge company on 18th August.
