Had to change my name ! lost 2hp ,was expecting to get 350hp . Tested the induction ,exactly the same on and off .

It was mapped in December so that must have something to do with it . I was dreaming last night ,my new name would be siliconekid350hp

You need a triple Plenom, he he he. Must have been that drag racings took the edge off it.
It's still huge horse power for an old lump!

I was lucky enough to meet Derek at Mallery last year, I could have gone in his car, bks what a chance and I turned it down, sorry bottled it, he's one of the good guys in life. He'll consider it very carefully I'm sure,,,,,,, then ban you Daz. Ha ha

Hahahahahahahaha,brilliant.
I had a standard re build, not Had it on the rollers,would it be touching 300 bhp, with standard Plenom and disi!
Feels fast that's all I know!
The car was always full of power before the re build, it's much faster since so surely it's gone up from 275hp!
The engine just blew oil out the seals, it never smoked at all and sounded fine.
The crank was well scored but the cam lobes were well intact. 40,000 miles when re built!
Power built it, what do you reckon guys?

Daz get a turbo then you can be SiliconeKid450 or get an LS then you can be SiliconeKid600 or get a turbo LS and be SiliconeKid1000.

Maybe you should be thinking about the suitably re-engineered club... QBee just might let you join... although given that you've maligned both of us in the past I wouldn't hold out too much hope

Same fuel as your last run? We used to find that shell v power always gave us a couple extra brake over tesco99, always used to empty the tank and go to a shell station before a run just for that extra few

How can Mad Max be involved with the MCC ? He is in the sub 200hp club . He should set his own club up for the guys running on 6 cylinders and 12000 mile tired sub 200hp cars like Mad max`s .

Take the passenger seat out, mine seems proper quick since I did this mod, you guys are a right good crack.




I've got a knackered seat belt so left the seat out until I can be bothered to buy a new one.

2 bhp is within the tolerances of the RR, Daz. This test just confirms your car's excellent credentials. It was probably something as simple as air temperature.

Cannot see why weight would have anything to do with performance on a rolling road, though parking your arse on the boot lid to reduce wheel spin might have helped.......
