VW Touareg RNS 850 unlock

Hi,
I have just purchased a 2014 VW Touareg and want to unlock the DVD player do that it can play DVDs whilst the vehicle is moving. Has anyone does this on the Touareg and if so is there any risks i should be aware of that could potentially ruin the head unit or invalidate the warranty ?
I have been in touch with someone who said that they could do it for me for £20 as its just a case of changing a setting using the VAGCOM.

biggest risk of damage is running into something whilst to paying attention to the DVD and not the road. Your head unit then can easily impact the windscreen.....

I hope no one offers any recommendations.
Sounds like a recipe for a big crash.
Whether you intend to watch it whilst driving or not, there will always come an exciting part of a film when you look down for a second too long.

This is not for me to look at whilst driving, i was purely thinking of entertainment for passengers

The Landrover idea seemed to be a good one - multi layer screens that allowed the passenger different content from the driver.

I can't imagine the rear passengers getting a great view of the film from the back seat?
