Hi everyone,

Where do we send the membership renewal cheque this year, as I believe Chris isn't doing it.

BTW Thanks Chris for all the help you have given to members (especialy me) on the technical side, as well as doing all the Admin jobs to keep the club going. I hope your new hobby doesn't stop you playing Geeps entirely.

Hi folks
Currently all the Jago stuff is all at Graham's place.
He is hoping to get some info sent out to the members soon.
The club now has a new editor so hopefully soon the magazine will start appearing again.

What the club could really do with is someone to take on the membership secretary role especially with the end of the year coming all to quickly and the need to get the membership re enrolled and new members logged in.

If anyone would like to take on this position if they could e-mail Graham on wal@mobit.co.uk
I am sure he will help them get the stuff sorted out and set up.

Regards what I am going to be doing now I am retiring.
I will still have our three Jago's (Geoffrey, T4x4 and Panther)and will be happily tinkering with them when required. I hope that the need to go back to boring mass produced tin boxes on wheels will either never happen or if it does it is many years down the line.

I will also be still chipping in on both the Jago Forums as well as continuing to run the technical web site which hopefully will have extra stuff added as and when I get around to it.
The only difference you may have seen is that it does not carry the club logo anymore as I feel that as I am retired from the club it is not mine to display.

When not enjoying messing around with my Jago's and not at work, weather and health permitting I will be regaining my skills at flying R/C helicopters as well as doing various things around and in my house.

If I can get to any shows I will do my best to so all in all I will still be around just not actually in the JOC.

Yes Chris, thanks for your comittment to the club and its membership over the years. I think perhaps the club would have folded long ago if it were not for your input. Hope the club now survives once you are retired from active involvement.

Hi Chris,

I think you should take the helicopter out on a trailer (scale to suit helicopter) towed by a radio controlled Geep or Samuri.

This is what would happen to me flying helicopters.

Happy flying

Thats a good idea will have to get and do domething like that. I am hoping to get a metalworking lathe sometime next year so should be able to make all the components to make a scale Geep/Samuri and trailer.

As they say watch this space and with a bit of luck sometime next year I may be posting a progress report on the project.
