Was doing the usual navigating rimmer bros incomprehensible website and came across Evans waterless coolants. It all sounds very good but I was wondering if this is geared more toward the older engine? I have a kv6 that I really can't afford to rebuild at the moment so I don't want to risk it unless somebody else has used it to great effect? Off to Le Mans from Cornwall so any extra cooling orientated wizardry is most welcome for obvious reasons.

Do a search, there's thousands of posts here and elsewhere on the stuff, some positive some negative. Have a read and draw your own conclusions. smile

Yes only have about 6/700miles on it [not Evans ] in 2.1 pinto in a robin hood seems ok has dropped gauge temps 10+ degs .Using agricutural machinery coolant John Deere seems to be ok . No idea of cost as my nephew supplied it ,but it will not be as dear as Evans. no need to use pre cleaner but it was a dry block before filling can't any more really

Sorry chaps, I always forget about the search bar. I can get agricultural coolant cheap as it happens so I think I'll give that a go before spending a fortune on Evans stuff!
