If there's one type of car guaranteed to receive a positive reaction on PH, it's a fast estate. From the Sheddiest of 850 T5s to the C63 507 Edition, a wagon with surfeit of power strikes a chord with PHers across the board.

This week the Jaguar XFR-S Sportbrake can be added to the list. After nearly 100 votes, it's PH O'Meter score is 8.25, a surefire indicator of widespread approval if ever there was one. Who wouldn't enjoy a 550hp V8 with an hilarious proclivity for oversteer and enough space for all the family?

Jaguar's driver-focused intent for the R-S 'brake was indicated by holding the car's launch at the Nurburgring. It proved very adept too for what is a near two-tonne car. And without an airborne pic from Flugplatz (must try harder Dan!), a Karussell tracking shot will suffice. For your desktop pleasure below.
