Why do you say that?

I'm sure it's going to be very impressive on the track.

What an odd thing to say.
Gt3's are all about track/ fast road driving
I for one will be using mine on track as much as possible. And driving it in london as little as possible. For that I have a fiat panda 4x4!

Much as I hate to agree with Mr D - not many of them have been bought by track day regulars and most buyers were more concerned about stitching colour than buckets and harnesses if the PH thread was anything to go by.

To put it another way - I saw an Aventador at Silverstone on Monday (and it sounded fabulous), but I see far more in central London apparently trying to pick up impressionable girls... The 991 GT3 is much more that kind of car than the previous GT3s were... frown

You are deluded lol

If you are going to track yours then that's nice to see, but most will never get any where near one.

Turn up on a track day and you get the same group of lads, the real car nuts, not the so called hi net worth professionals who went after Porsche asking for money lol.

Porsche know how to sell cars and the city foke with the cash want PDK end of.

Strange analysis.

PDK suddenly means buyers aren't track day billies.

Based on nothing at all but your prejudices.

The 991 gt3 is porsche's current ultimate track / fast road car.

These cars have now taken another step forward in the technology front. Over time you will see owners enjoying there cars on the track.

I'm sure once the hype dies down we will see how excellent the new technology is and how much of an improvement these 991 cars are over 997.

the one being see are around Mayfair and London shock !!!

prejudices have nothing to do with it.

I have about 5 more track days booked this year inc SPa want a wager I don't see a 991 GT3 on one £50 ?

I wonder if it's just possible that there are more gt3 s in london hence that's where they are being spotted there ?
Lots of cars haven't been delivered yet and so lots will miss the track day season
Especially if you throw in a running in period

I will bet you your 50 quid that you see one next year
I'll give you 2/1 odds if you like

On the basis that he could choose not to go to track days and "see one", I'm not that's a sensible bet.

Dude, real car nuts do test days. Trackdays are for Top Gear pundits, Stuff magazine subscribers and folk who log on to spout the 'my cars better than yours' game. smile
