Does anyone know this Cerbera?
Discussion
Seems to have been up for a while thinking of going to take a look at it.

The scoop..
That has or should have a fresh chassis on it as well.. Was up for 10k before (from the same seller) needing the chassis sorting. A quick glance at the description I am surprised there is no mention of a fresh fully sorted chassis.

I see a few still hanging around that are no doubt Good cars just overpriced , or they would be sold

Was a forum memeber , good car but they (Shmoo) are to optimistic, it will sell but not at these price's.
Mine went but took awhile , I guess the dealers have the benefit of offering finance where needed Plus a warranty...

Waiting for the right buyers I suppose, they are not Fiestas. I suspect that the silver isn't helping the 4.2, I think a lot of potential TVR buyers like a lairier colour.I see a few still hanging around that are no doubt Good cars just overpriced , or they would be sold

I'm sure this has been done to death but buying without a rebuilt engine and paying 23-25k from shmoo or str8six does that make any sense? If the 4.2/4.5 is a late model and well maintained is that something that can be relied upon? Same question goes for no clutch upgrade or exhaust headers. Str8six seems to suggest most of the issues had been ironed out of the later vehicles.
Like everyone I guess I'm looking for a car that has been properly sorted so the chances of big bills are reduced, although I'm not naive enough to think any car will be cheap to run. I'm happy to pay a premium for the privilege but struggling to understand the mkt pricing. The tvr mads one has a rebuilt 4.5 but is £21, the schmo and str8six are more but with original engines.

Makes sense but would I be better with a rebuilt engine that should last longer than a factory engine ever would.
Don't know if this will help you but, my Cerb is a 2002 with 62000 miles on it now.It has not had the engine rebuilt.
It has only had one clutch @45000 miles.
It does not have any clutch upgrades.
It is still on the original exhaust headers.
It has had a set of Nitrons.
The car is looked after by stri8six and everything they put on the list of things to get sorted gets done.
