I have a large one in my armpit

Although it doesn't hurt, it doesn't look nice & restricts what I can wear as I'm conscious of it, plus it's in the way of waxing/shaving!

Any suggestions on home removal please?

The Doctor has said they will freeze it with nitrogen but will take 3/4 goes over 3/4 weeks & I can't get it wet during this period - which under my armpit isn't going to be nice

Google says dental floss tied round it or DermaTag skin tag removal kit, neither of which seem to have medical backing...

Nail clippers worked for me on a biggie under my armpit.

Had one under armpit too. tied some cotton thread around it and it was gone a few days later.

Have also used nail clippers previously and that worked too....felt strangely weird actually cutting something off your body though...but I am a wuss....

Unless you have a helping hand, you're going to struggle to tie a tiny knot under your armpit though

Had one in the same place Ali. I shaved, and suddenly I didn't have one. Then I went back to waxing as normal. Sorted.

Verruca freezer is good as long as you only apply it to the tag. No blood, no pain it just turns black and drops after a couple of days.

If it keeps growing back, then try electrolysis. It's not just used for hair removal but stuff like this and warts!

If the pedicle is small enough then cotton/dental floss should work
Well it did for me on a couple of small ones with a <1mm pedicle

I'm a complete pathetic 'girl' at the sight of blood & pain, even the thought of it - can't do injections without fainting.

There's a couple of places in N'ton that will remove it for £££ one for £45 one for £150, neither website inspires me

If you cut it off it will bleed and bleed for a long time (experience). The "string trick" works!!

My daughter had one on her chin which other children had started to make fun of (year 1). The doctor froze it and it dropped off. She then got another on her eyelid which they wouldn't treat but has shrunk and left of its own accord.

You need to tie the string REALLY tightly

Your GP will take it off with hot knife, my does although I think he's a special GP, like GP+ or something, but they'll be someone at your health center who can do it.

I've had about 6 or 7 taken off and warts, they try to talk me out of it but I hate the stupid things they catch on my shirt collar etc...

The string method absolutely canes when getting it tight enough, I like the nail clipper idea. Get on it next time you're hammered and it'll be easy.
