So over the course of the last three years since the launch of the M5 I have watched the prices of the F10 M5 like a hawk and told myself when they hit a certain point I would buy am AUC car with the spec I wanted.

Last week I drove past my local dealer and caught a glimpse of the back of one in the same colour I had my E60 M5 in (a car which I absolutely adored). I popped in and saw the window price. Had a very brief chat with the salesman I've bought my previous cars from and within five minutes had a test drive. I've owned every variation of M5, both manual and DCT M3s and a host of other BMWs. Within about five minutes and a few full throttle plants I was hooked. Terrific spec. It was an absolute no brainer. Deal done. Pick it up first thing.

Anybody able to add any tips?

Guess I will get to know the local garage fairly well again now! smile

Epic.

Paxed in a 14 plate across welsh A roads this week.

Despite the average driver, smile , it's clear the car is very accomplished and sooooooo rapid. Nice cabin to be in, rear seat legroom ste but the car does seem to shrink around you in a good way for an enjoyable drive.

Rear seat legroom is almost limo like. Your driver & you must be 7ft tall;)

Silverstone, active seats, 20s and missile launchers. Oh and a boom boom stereo system. I can't remember the 'exact' spec but I will post up a first day with it update tomorrow.
