Tyre wear help required please

I will very shortly need new tyres on my Spyder (<15k miles, will be 2nd set of rears...) but I've just noticed this wear - it's only on the OSF not on any other.
Car also drives straight and true - any ideas why it's like this.

It's on Pirellis at the moment but will be looking to change brands.

Could be under inflation or geometry. May sound obvious, so sorry in advance..!

Check your cold pressures before driving, and get it 4 wheel aligned, that should isolate any discrepancies

perhaps a silly question Zyp. Do you have to make a full lock turn to the left to access your drive or within your drive. It could be this that is tearing the tread off the outer edge of the tyre.

Yes I do - near full lock to the left then half to the right to get in the garage.
I also have to drive over some slightly raised concrete sets and then gravel whilst on lock.

If this was the cause should it not also wear the edge of the NSF tyre?

In order of likelihood....

GEO is out.
Tyre has been running underpressure.
Shock absorber is performing under-spec.

Not necessarily. I think Graemel might have put his finger on it. On full lock left, that edge is fully loaded because of the camber and castor. The outside edge of the near side tyre won't be loaded the same and the camber will oppose the castor on that side, not add to it.

Out the car on full lock and see for yourself what the situation is.
