Roof Down Motoring - Where did you drive this weekend ?

As the sun decided to bless us today, the missus and i went for a spin and ended up at Tresallyn Cross not far from Padstow, where an Eccentric Druid called Ed has built a Quoit and a Stone Circle in his garden, we even got to meet him now in his 80's, but still a very amusing bloke, full of funny stories !
So as the topic says, where did you drive this weekend ??

First run out this year so a bit special in any case. Lunch in the sun by the river at Gt. Barford, then on to the Crown and Cushion pub near St. Neots. The landlord there owns a '96 chim and he kindly went off to collect it from his lock-up and return it so we could chew the fat with bonnets up in the car park.
Not been out in the chim today, but got this to go to in the morning and the forecast is spot on around Northants!

Sounds like my kinda Landlord lol 
Norwich to Brampton (near Huntingdon) then back.... about 4 hours driving all in including the home to Norwich bit and back... Broke my record coming back, Brampton to home in an hour and five minutes......... bloody overcast each way, but the roof was off... awesome drive as always.... even a play with a couple of bikes and a fat fezza 
Dropped wifey at work in the 5.5.
Continued to Brands and took advantage of a pit and paddock pass.
Watched the Future Classics qualifying race where my pal Perry was competing in his RV8 Tuscan.
Was then pressed into duties to change brake pads, bleed brakes and swap tyres on his Tuscan with another "press ganged" guy, Adam.
Spent the afternoon watching TVRs and other classics from the pitwall and grandstand trying to help as best as a novice can
Had a good drive back in the chim in beautiful weather to be greeted with a message that the 4.6 was ready to be picked up from the sprayers.
Another hours chim driving in the 4.6 that I haven't driven for over 6 months, what a pleasent surprise, it's nearly as fast as the 5.5. I can't make up my mind whether that's good or bad!

Took the dog for a spin to Burton Dassett hills and a long walk.
Took even longer to get home trundling down lanes and the odd squirt of rocket power.
Played around with the damper settings on the rears as I went.
Came to a very odd set up but the rear end stayed planted and I'm more happy with the general handling.
Rears are now harder than the fronts? Might tweak the fronts up a click to maintain a better balance but all in all a very enjoyable test drive in the evening sun, the dog enjoyed it.

Having just got her back from the garage with some new outriggers a week ago , so after a little spit and polish she made the 200+ mile round trip down to goodwood's breakfast club without skipping a beat Beautiful sun and some very nice motors gleaming under it.

I drove from Froncysyllte to Warwick services with the roof off. I forgot on that route you either stop in Telford or it is all the way to Warwick before there's a stop...

I fancied a 25 mile drive to the Tatton park area at 4pm to mingle with a few interesting cars leaving the performance car show that has been on there this weekend. Pulled off my drive and within 1 minute got chased by an unknown Chimaera in to Sandbach (Hello sir, nice throaty exhaust note and covered lenses you have there!).
Whilst around Tatton spotted a Bugatti Veyron. Nice, you don't see one of them every day.

Drove from forest row to Greenwich Park for breakfast, then round the Kent countryside and into Surrey, back into East suusex to Sheffield Park for an ice cream, then on to Brighton for dinner and finally the return home to Eastbourne, what a fantastic day with friends, cars and hot bright weather
