I've been tormenting myself for the past few months looking at all sorts of different cars from MX5s, E46 330Cis, Leon Cupras etc etc
I'm looking for something less than £3k, less than 90k miles, fairly fast and reliable. Not too bothered about seats, just has to be a solid car that'll last me a couple of years. Not hugely bothered about MPG, I only drive 3 miles each way to work and do a couple of 2 hour motorway journeys a month.
Anyone got any ideas? I'm a long time lurker and am after a bit of a hand!

In fairness I'm a bit of a blank canvas, RWD would be nice, but not essential. Not hugely worried about a convertible but if it is, it is. Would ideally be able to fit 4 people in it as that'd be a lot more useful than a 2 seater but I'm 22 so I'm assuming you don't get much of a choice for a 2 seater toy later in life!
