Just spotted the ex Argoose 6.3LS on ebay and p'heads at similar money as when last advertised. Never mind the fact that the owners flat needs money spent on it, why would anyone acquire this special car and part company with it after only 18 months? Better left as 5 litre? Just a thought.

Any more info on the build of this one ?
Guessing Corvette powered ? The chassis flex must be terrible and surely it's nose heavy....but in a straight line.....

Several threads on here. Although I know that there was stiffening done to the chassis via the addition of a rollcage which I believe helps Why nose heavy? I don't think there's much difference in weight between the RV8 and the LS3.

The Ls engine is slightly heavier but runs a plastic intake, but the rv8 has a chunky alloy one give and take abit off each engine there about the same

Methinks, A 6 footer in the driving seat sfter a good lunch and a nearly full fuel tank should make it a 50/50 weight distribution. No worries.

Very good value for anyone wanting 6.3 Corvette engine.

Hello, no hidden reasons for selling - would love to keep it, but simply need the money more at the moment. I can honestly say there are no downsides to the conversion compared with standard Griff except arguably the RV8 sounds slightly better. The handling with roll bar and suspension upgrades is far better than standard.

Actually the LS is lighter than the RV8. In mine the TO600 gearbox is heavier than he T5, but combined weight is equal. Weight is 49/51 with half tank. Frame copes well with the Power (if not corroded), traction is anyway limiting the forces unless you go with racing rubber. Even a 500 can smoke its tires... Per

That's what I read, the Rover isn't the lightweight people think with all the ancillaries including the alternator, starter motor etc.

Interesting thread discussing that here CLICKY
