HELP! - Warning light identification
Discussion
Hi,
Just had my 1400SS ex race car serviced, including cambelt and DS belt change. On the way home a Amber warning light (biggest on the dash between/above water and oil pressure gauges)started to flicker. I pulled over and looked in the owners manual to see what is was for, to find out it's the only light not in the manual. Typical!
Oil and water readings were normal so carried on....the light went from flickering to permanently on. Going over bumps and higher revs seemed to turn it off.
Water temp and oil pressure readings were normal....
Found the light on the Caterham parts website....

My thoughts are that it's an oil pressure warning light which may have been knocked/needs adjusting after the DS belt change?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks for reading.

Thanks Rubystone, after doing some digging on the web I am now pretty sure it's a low oil pressure sensor... As mentioned the question now is why the recent work would have made it play up?
The oil gauge was reading 2 bar hot idle and 4 bar under load when the light flickered on, which I understand is normal.
Guess the first think I should check is all the electrical connections. I assume the sensor must be separate if the gauge is telling me all is OK but the light something different?!
