Garage / workshop space in London

Trying to find figure out options to find space to do occasional work on the car in London. Previously i used to be further out from London with a driveway and garage but I moved more central and couldn't afford a property with those luxuries!

Have other people found solutions for this?

I enjoy working on cars from time to time and it's a good way to save some money. Porsche is currently in a secure parking space so i can do a few jobs there but larger jobs like oil changes, discs and pads etc aren't possible. Even washing the car properly (rather than a £5 hand car wash) is challenging!

I've started looking at some garages to rent although a lot of these are too small to work on a car and don't have power and water. i'm also planning to stop by a few local businesses that have outdoor storage space and might be happy to let me use it at weekends - the money i can offer though probably isn't much of an incentive though...

hadn't found that, not the closest but like the option of hiring a lift! have you used them?

Used them loads, very helpful, call them first to reserve lift. I use them for oil changes and any reason that requires car in the air.
