VAG 1.8T - P1358 - Cylinder 2 Ignition Circuit fault.
Discussion
I have a '52 Skoda Octavia with the 1.8T engine.
I've just replaced a faulty coil pack and the engine appears to be running fine - however;
The MIL light came on in less than 2 miles. So I checked with a scanner and got "P1358 - Cylinder 2 Ignition Circuit".
I Googled this, and I have found a lot of US forums where the coil park harness has fractured, but this doesn't seem to be a common problem here in the UK?
The car was perfect before the coil pack failed and I replaced it.
Could it be a faulty coil pack, or am I barking up the wrong tree?

So I posted this in the VW / Skoda / Audi forum and got an equally stellar response there as well.
It looks like it's the no name brand cheap coil pack anyway.

But if it fixes the problem I don't really care.
Once I'm sure it has solved the issue, I will be contacting the Ebay seller about the other part.
