I travel too much to create a topic for each trip but I thought that this one might interest you smile
I'm only going to post car related stuff here, If you would like to see more of my travel photos it's all on Flickr https://www.flickr.com/photos/woofsnap/

I thought I'll skip the usual Monaco GP this year and head to America to see Indy 500 Instead and then make it a little roadtrip.

So I started in Indianapolis, great show! :

Then I headed to Chicago, I've never been there before but it looked so familiar from all the movies and tv series smile :

Next stop: Milwaukee. Not much interesting there apart from a nice drive from Chicago (I LOVE American countryside and small towns) and of course Harley Davidson museum:

Then I flew to Denver, I only had two nights there so quickly went to the place that interested me most:

Let's just say that conditions weren't ideal for trying to beat Loeb's time wink

I made it though and can say that I drove up Pikes Peak smile

On the way back I had a long stopover in Edmonton. I wanted to check out America's largest shopping mall and oh my, it is spectacular smile
I had two hours spare so I went downtown and OH MY GOD. I was blown away! For me Auckland in New Zealand was always the petrolhead capital of the world due to the amount of modified japanese cars there but Edmonton is in a different league.
Just to clarify - all those photos are taken within two hour period in one neighbourhood! I haven't taken any photos of countless modern Mustangs, Challengers, Camaros and Corvettes, not mentioning all modified Japanese stuff. There was probably about 10-15 EVOs, RX7s and 8s, Skylines, 200SXs of all varieties and most prominently more Harleys that I could even count! Absolutely amazing.

Really nice bunch of pictures there smile

Looks like you had a fantastic trip.

Did you come back and look at the classifieds for a mustang when you got back? I did after having one out there whistle

Why would I change my current car for something inferior? wink
