Opel Insignias

Seen loads of these recently (OK, 3) with the front badge missing. I'm assuming there's a Mondeos-with-tape-on-rear-bumper style explanation for this. My two theories are:

> Don't want it known that they've bought a grey import so take the badge off.
> Badge collectors (aka thieving little s) don't see that many Opels so swipe the badges off these Insignias.

Most boring thread ever possibly but, God damn it I want to know, etc.

Yes, the front badges fall off, but underneath the normal Vauxhall badge that falls off, the black grill has the Opel badge moulded in.

Makes perfect sense, I knew it'd be something like that. Thanks.

Saves them making two different grilles for Opels and Vauxhalls I suppose, they just stick on a Vauxhall badge (with st glue as it turns out) to cover it up!
