I'm looking into it at the moment.

I need it for seven vehicles, pretty basic stuff will suffice. Just want to know where drivers are during the day, what time do they start and finish work etc. Also I want to know when they are using vehicles after work.
And now that's the problem - it seems that most of the companies supply a OBD unit which is easy to install but also easy to remove. Am I assuming correctly that the driver can just unplug it in the evening before taking off and then plug it back in whenever he's back home and I'll be none the wiser?

Anyone with fleet management experience/recommendation?

Take a look at fleetmatics or fleet check for some ideas about costs and what is available.

Simple pen and paper mileage logs as well as OBD trackers?

They unplug the OBD bit but still have 50 miles mre in the clock then the OBD bit is saying?

I did google it of course and check most of the websites. Annoyingly many of them don't post any prices on their websites, including fleetmatics. They also don't mention the details of the hardware. I guess I'll have to call them...

Then the whole thing is pointless, I know nobody including myself will have time to check the mileage, compare it with the software etc.

If I'm paying £150+ per month I don't want to have to check vehicles daily with pen and paper.
