The last 2 miles

Chaps - despite being on 3rd trip in four years, still trying to work out the best route in. We are heading for Beasjour - and arriving mid/late afternoon on Thursday.
Last year we came down the D323 (along with most others) then pulled off along the D139 toward the main entrance and across the top of Blu Nord. The part along the top and by the circuit was slow but bearable, however between the entrance and junction of the D323 was frankly purgatory.
Would it be quickly to stay on the D323 down to Arnage and come off there and head in via the D92 - or would this just be just as long on a different road?

The traffic through Arnage and then towards BSJ is probably going to be a bad as coming via the road alongside the circuit.
If you are trying to be clever then I suspect the clearest route would be to come in past the 'Stella Bar' at Tertre Rouge and the football stadium, 'Chemin aux Boeufs' is the road name.

On Thursday last year we arrived mid/late afternoon, and the traffic through the North of the main entrance was insane, we were in two cars, my car went South to Arnage, then East towards porsche curves, and up to Bleu Sud/Nord/Main Entrance. If you are trying to be clever then I suspect the clearest route would be to come in past the 'Stella Bar' at Tertre Rouge and the football stadium, 'Chemin aux Boeufs' is the road name.
The other car arrives over 2 hours later, just from the traffic.....! Whether that was down to roadworks or an external factor, I'm unsure but that way was outrageous in comparison.

We find the quickest way in to BSJ is head south west on A11 towards Angers then cut across south east towards Arnage on the D326 via Les Courtrus. Stop off at the hypermarket in Arnage then straight in via the railway station. Job done
Yep, I do this - though usually do a cut through the back streets of Arnage or if they are allowing traffic (usually on Thursday they are, though they do keep changing to being one way), down across the level crossing and turn right down Route de la Heronniere into Blue Nord (useful for Blue Nord) but then you can cut back to Beausejour from the bottom that is usually slightly more free moving.Gassing Station | Le Mans | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
