Another first century - Norwich 100

Completed my first century yesterday, the Norwich 100. Did the 50 last year on my hybrid and now I've got my road bike the 100 seemed like a good idea, previous biggest ride was the Wiggle Newmarket 74 miler in April. Pretty much perfect riding conditions - light wind, sun and not too hot although my calves where I forgot to apply suncream are now a touch warm. Averaged over 16mph for the entire ride which I'm happy with, now eyeing up the Dunwich Dynamo...Was pleased that I managed to stay on for the climb up Kelling Heath where several were walking, being the wrong side of 18st climbing is not my forte

Saw a couple of ph shirts, followed one on a light blue bike into Spixworth where we stopped at the lights

Nice one, I snook in a century on Saturday as well, did a 60 mile club ride and as it wasn't raining for once kept going after to 100.

Just booked my return ticket for the Dynamo, really looking forward to it

I was wearing mine! Only did the 50 though. I was on a white Specialized
