B7 Audi A4 2.0 TFSI
Discussion
Hello,
Thinking about getting an Audi B7 A4 2.0 TFSI but I don't seem to find much about it! Has anyone got one on here?
What kind of MPG are you getting?
What are they remappable to with just a simple remap (no mechanical upgrades)
How reliable are they? I assume decent as they're German!
What are they like in terms of depreciation? I need my next car to not depreciate too much in 2 and a half years!
Cheers.

MPG wise, have a look on the Parkers website for official figures, then subtract 15% from it, and you'll have a reasonable figure. Thinking about getting an Audi B7 A4 2.0 TFSI but I don't seem to find much about it! Has anyone got one on here?

Reliability, look for common faults, spend a day of solid researching, (not necessarily all at once) don't automatically assume that because it's German it'll be built like The Great Wall Of China.
Audi's in general seem to hold their prices well, but most value is generally lost on it's condition and how it's wearing it's miles, not the actual age of it.
If you want something that won't depreciate, buy an old snotter.
(I do not own, or have any affiliation with Angel Tuning, just speaking from experience when I bought my car)
Edited to add:
If you look online hard enough you'll find faults with all cars, you need to find the A4 forum, and most times the manufacturer based forums will have forums set up on these. Just do some research.

Cheers for the help! The reason I don't want it to depreciate too much is because I need to sell it to move out in a few years. I plan on getting a quick car whilst I can afford it! It's weighing up between this, an impreza or a Mazda 3 MPS.Remap wise; taken from www.Angeltuning.com's website.

This is purely my opinion now but:Audi: You'll get branded a t
t and never let out of side turnings at all, plus mainly driven by cocks.Mazda:Dynamically brilliant, but a little monotonous to look at.
Subaru: From what I've been told, heavy drinker.
Personally, I'd have a look at something like a 325i, Mk5/6 Golf GTI/R32 or something like a Focus ST, yes it's heavy on petrol, but the torque and that lovely noise make up for it (same as R32)
Personally, I'd go for the ST or the Golf GTI, but if I had kids, I would look at something like a 325i Touring.
Our Octavia (I think running roughly the same engine) averages about 30mpg, almost entirely short trips around suburban Southampton. At 70 on the motorway it does a little under 40mpg. The A4 is (quite a bit) heavier than the Octavia so I'd imagine the urban consumption will be marginally higher unless it's fitted with stop/start or something.
Yes they are remappable - about 250bhp seems viable without hardware modifications.
Reliability-wise, they're... average, I suppose. Certainly not on a par with the Japanese, but reasonable by European standards.
