I presume the boat yards insurance will pay out, and the owner will take the cash and run away, or ask them to build a new one.

1)Find rich buyer to pay deposit
2)Build boat to very sub standard quality (Cheap)
3)Boat has "accident" and insurance pays out for a full quality item
4)Refund deposit
5)Profit

It struck me as odd that they kept lowering the thing down the slope even though it was rolling more and more. I would at least have stopped it and hoped for one of those 'Hang on lads I've got an idea' moments.

There didn't seem to be the expected level of panic in the employee's standing around to me, I mean one could expect a Meh attitude from some yards but usually excitable Americans? Nothing, the chap in the hard hat hardly even broke in to a fast walk.

Man that's one ugly looking boat. The water probably just rejected it. Double the length or halve the height, and try again.

I'm not sure that's right. If you fail to take a corner correctly in your car due to miscalculating the speed and crash, you're still covered.

Yup, that is one boat that looks seriously out of proportion and as though it would tip over if everyone just stood on one side... still a shame though.
