Wheel refurb gone wrong

Had my wheels refurbished today by a well known specialist in the west of Scotland.

Dropped the car off at 8 this morning, received a call at 9 telling me they had snapped the locking wheel nut after removing 3 wheels.
I popped back to refurbishers to get the broken locking nut so I could get it replaced by BMW. Whilst there I looked into the workshop only to see a chip / dent on the rear wheel arch! Looks like the trolley jack arm has struck the car!!!!

The manager was off on holiday today, so I will be back tomorrow to have it out with him. Question is do I accept a smart repair or look for the panel to be repaired / painted? Also should they be accepting liability for breaking the locking wheel nut?

I'm raging, the car was parked with about 12" access down one side, no wonder the jack hit it!

That's a pisser bud, I'd tell him that I'd allow the smart repair to go ahead but only on the understanding that if I wasn't entirely happy with it, I'd insist on it going to a BMW approved body shop at his expense.

I'll be getting my wheels refurbed in the next month and I'd rather not use these guys.

Turns out the car had been previously touched in, unfortunately I cannot prove when this happened.

Received the car today, unfortunately the wheels are a mess and I have rejected them. The guy has offered to re-paint them so I will give him one more chance.

UPDATE;

Wheels redone today, better, but still a mess... I'll post up pictures tomorrow showing the flaws. The guy who painted the wheels thought they looked great, and explained that they are not new wheels so shouldn't expect "as new" results.( wheels were totally flat and smooth prior to refurb)

I cannot believe they are claiming they should not be as good as new when repainted - I'm no expert but any wheels my family or I have had done have always been 'as new' when finished.

What's putting you off naming and shaming them David? It would help us all avoid this place if this is the sub-standard service they provide.

The wheels I got refurbished a couple of weeks ago were a bit of a mess.
Had been used for off roading, ran dedicated off roading tyres for that. Had chips and scratches, the paint was peeling and the back of the rims were corroding.

Came back as new, yours should be the same. Especially after paying £40+ a wheel.

The poor finishing is not isolated to these 4 areas, this is just one wheel I've taken a few snaps of.

I only had the wheels refurbished as they were a bit matt and tired looking, they where pretty much perfect before the refurb without any damage or contamination.
