as ive posted before after 10 yrs of being sat on my drive covered over and tormenting me every day i passed it , i have finally tackled my. body off refurb. i have gone all the way through with new problems every time i touch it but have overcome but i have lost my photos and i am stuck on whichbwires gonto which side of the ignition coil and i need to know if anyone has changed there fuel pump and had to put a pre pump filter in and where did they fit them? help i am nearly there.

For the coil, the top 2 wires come from the wiring bundle that normally sits on the breather hose running across the front of the plenum. The bottom 2 wires come from the bracket that holds the ignition module.

Sorry, but no idea about the fuel pump filter as I haven't done this myself.

thanks for that and the photos, but unfortunatelly i have 4.0ltr and it is set out different but you may still be able to help and that would be by figuring out what colour wire is on the + side of the coil. cheers again

Hi. Ignition Coil wiring layout on my 1999 4 ltr as follows:- + terminal, two wires, one all black and one all white.
- Terminal, again two wires, both white with black trace.
