I don`t know why my petrol cap is allowing vapours out,it making an issing noise . . I have an air vent(Breather) under the car to make it breath .Could it be something to do with the one way valve stuck closed ?

Too many horses sucking the fk out of it, put a bigger hole in the cap, lol.
Must be stuck!

I can`t remember ,does the pipe normally go from the tank through the roll over valve the to the carbon canister ?

Is the tank low on fuel?... its a hot day... have you turned it on / off a few times without starting? if si TADTS wink

sounds about right ,what is happening . is there a chance of an explosion .. !vapours and dangerous

Why would of thought the breather woud of stopped any pressure build up !

How can it be a breather with a 1 way valve????????

Sucker or Blower.... but breathing is in & out!

Yes it was sucking , would the breather i fitted be doing anything ?

sucking... when it does it on mine its usualy a bit of pressure trying to get out.... obviously waiting for the carbon can valve to open?... how often does it open?.. anyone know smile

No carbon canister on mine ,that `s why i was asking .
